Feeling Alone and taking care of business

With much thought and consideration I have decided to end my raw food fit challenge.

No, I haven't decided to stop eating raw foods nor have I decided to stop exercising. Both I will continue to do.

I just have decided not to make it a focus on my life right now.

If I don't feel like waking at 5:30 a.m. to go workout I won't. It's no longer a "have-to" to maintain a goal. More than likely I will continue to wake up because that's pretty much the only time I can workout.

But anyhoo.

My attention is needed at home.

My husband, the person I have gained the most inspiration from, and I are not playing well together.

The complications he and I are having are not going away and it's not making my personal goal fun anymore.

Our growing distance is not making anything fun anymore.

Feeling alone in a marriage is very disheartening and I can fairly say that my husband and I both have that in common.

It's time to take care of business on the home front.

I will continue to blog, maybe not on a daily basis but frequently enough.

Please feel free to continue to leave comments, send me emails, say hello.

I am still an Internet junkie.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support at Inspiration:Life I look forward to sharing more of my adventures with you.

Peace and Love,

hey Terilynn,
I'm sorry to hear things are not going well between you and your husband. Must be tough on the kids, too :( I hope you manage to work it out. That's a great thing you're doing, sacrificing your goal to use that energy to improve your relationship.
Sending big, supportive hugs across the ocean,

Ahh hello, and I am guessing you are not a teen haha! ...Heh, okay that was weird. Umm..I do need an older persons opinion on this and you were one of the first that caught my attention, congrats.

I guess? Hah, anyways I was wondering, are you Twenties or your Teen years the best of your life? If you don't get it, read my blog.. yes I am new so please. I'm not some old...weird internet person, I'm actually a curious, confused, and mature(ish) teen that needs answers.

Thank You. :)

This is my first visit to your blog and I just wanted to say I am sorry you are feeling lonely in your marriage. I'm sure you already know you are not alone in feeling alone.
I hope you get the time and space you need to work things out.

How can you be at peace with your partner when you so clearly are not at peace with yourself. I wish you well

Dear and another thing,

Please go into further detail with the very bold statement you left "you so clearly are not at peace with yourself."

I'm curious to know what information you are basing it on.

Peace and love,

Although this is my first visit to your blog, I think it's brave of you to admit having such personal problems. We're all human, we all have our flaws and sometimes we can get carried away in our own personal activities in such we don't realize how it may be affecting the people around us. I am glad to see you share this sense of prioritizing with us and wish you the best as you work through it. I hope he shares in your desire to place your relationship on high priority.

I'm so sorry to read your post. I was jazzed to see your picture (i'm a black woman and know no one with your point of view on food!)and to read your insight on raw food and exercise. But family always comes first. I wish you the very best - and i'm sure just by making time to handle your business you've already made a positive impact.

It is important to take time and focus on the things that are important to us. It is also very important to be able to recognize them. Best of luck, I'm thinking of you!

Dear Terilynn, I did not intend to give any offence and apologise most sincerely if I have. However, in reading your blog I felt that there was such frantic energy within you. and I wondered, to what purpose?

Terilynn said...

and another thing,

No offense taken, I was wondering what you meant by what you said.

You are very correct in your assessment of a frantic energy within me. Why? Who knows? I have always been that way. I have always felt a sense of urgency internally.

I have found peace with the way I am and although I have done things to channel the energy (yoga, meditation, scream)it is and has always been a part of my make-up.

Thanks for clarifying your astute observation.

Peace and love,

hi , feel sory for the time you are facing. But let me realise you that dont waste your life , The days gone are gone ,they wont come back.Charge urself with positive energy ,look forward & try to get maximum out of your relationship, he was the only person whom u loved & married, i agree their are some ups & downs in relationship &&& that is all we call LOVE. Try to remove the distances which have been created this can be done by simply talking & understanding each others needs again. All D Best. remember LIFE GOES ON.

Oh, how I have been there! (Except for having kids).. I am on my third-- and final-- attempt at a happy marriage, and so far (four years together) it's peachy. But in order to get here, I had to go through the hell of ending a very stale marriage. Even though it was very amicable, it was really hard to make the decision to start AGAIN. But I can say that it has been so worth it, and it's been a new, much happier life. I can't tell you what you should do (no one should, really), but I can say that it has been completely worth the hard part. Hang in there, and take care of YOU ;-)

Stumbled onto your blog. Lots of empathy here and I hope you and your hubby can work it all out.

Oh! So does this mean you won't be blogging as much anymore?

Anyhow,WE, your fans will always be here to check your site out. So you are not really alone, I am one of those internet junkie too and I am just starting this kind of life. :) I am in a married life too, and yes it can be really rough sometimes.

But it is really all in our head most of the times. The answers are just around it is a matter of finding and implementing the solution. Not as easy as it sounds but sometimes it is easy. I hope you all life and love in your marriage.:);)

Keep blogging. hehe

Something i found rAWESOME for switching situations in and out of home with relationships in general was listening to the 7 habbits of highly effective people.

It seems like your biting the end of a bad stick but really these people have so much to offer.

I came here through a link in blogger because i thought INSPIRATION was my site lol.

I'm trying to inspire people to live life the way they want.

Hello Terilynn,

This is my first time visiting your blog, and I'm already inspired! I think its admirable that you challenge yourself daily. What's even more stand-up is that fact that you're delaying your goals to work on a more important priority! I wish you well in accomplishing all of your goals! You should visity my blogs in the future!

I am new to the blogging world & stumbled unto yours today. I have not read enough to know your history but my heart strings were tugged when I read what you said about your marriage. You may not want to hear from someone you don't know but I have been married over 30 years and have a few life verses that have given me strength, hope, direction, & yes even course correction! I hope they can be an encouragement to you.

Psalm 27: 13 & 14
"I would have despaired, had I not believed I would see the goodness of Lord. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."

Galatians 2:20
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

Psalm 139:23-24
"Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Love brought you together and love will light the way, whether you stay together as a couple or not, hang on to that love and that sacred connection. Remember that the roles you play are not *you*, you are spirit incarnate and powerful beyond measure. You will make it to the other side of this with a new strength and knowing of who you really are and I'm looking forward to the inspiring posts to follow as you share your journey with us!
