New Moon in Pisces and Day 88 of Terilynn's Juice Feast

On Today's Menu:
2 quarts spinach/kale/
cucumber/lemon
2 quarts grapefruit/MSM/
Wheatgrass powder

Deb ask:
"Are you going to keep on feasting till the 7th???"

My answer is...yes, I will be extending my juice feast but just until March 6th. I will take in my first solid on March 7th, the New Moon in Pisces.

For the past month I had been thinking about extending my juice feast because I was enjoying it so much. Since I had worked through my fear of eating issues I feel comfortable in my intention on why extending it would be for me.

David and Katrina graciously took time from their busy schedule to guide me in reasons why I would continue (or not) in my journey. I appreciate them during this time, as others will when they start their juice feast on Saturday.

It is important to me to extend it for a reason that made sense to me and because it felt right. That is why I started juice feasting and was able to complete it this time because it felt right. I noticed the new moon was a short time away from my original end date so I thought that would be a perfect time to eat my first solid. New Moon, New Beginnings.

Over the next few days I will talk more about what the New Moon in Pisces means to me and ending my juice feast and the goals I hope to accomplish with my new lease on life.

I have received a lot of questions about my weight. I still don't know how much I have lost I will weigh the morning of March 7th. I am a bit curious myself.

Also I have a video of my first day of this juice feast. I will get that ready to post sometime next week and I will do a video of my last day of this juice feast.

Thank you all again for your beautiful words that have supported me during this adventure and I look forward to doing the same for you.

Peace and Love,
Terilynn

Having Value on Day 62

Do you ever have those moments when a light bulb turns on in your head? And you think, "My goodness, I get it!"

I would like to share something that Katrina sent me to help me cope with my occasional emotional breakdowns.

"...emotions are just so much more accessible when not buried under layers of toxic food medication. One thing that has really helped me is to think of what Ecart Tolle calls the "pain body" We all have it. It is strong, and it doesn't like to be ignored, and when it feels threatened by something like non-causal joy, bliss, self-love, pouring over of the heart love cup, it rises up nice and strong and says "please don't forget me!"

Word for word, that pretty much sums it up.

Thank you, Katrina and a special thank you to Melissa who talked me through yesterday. She is someone I am so grateful for. I am so very blessed that she has entered my life.
I will be reading the words of Eckhart Tolle very soon.

From time to time I read blogs where people want to embark on a Juice Feasting journey and they are doing so without their friends' or families' knowledge for fear of what they will think.
That is unfortunate. If anything, this whole process has made me realize the importance of having some sort of support during Juice Feasting. Whether it be a fellow feaster, the forums at Juicefeasting.com or with your sister (Love you Mo)

I don't know if I have mentioned this before but this is my second juice feasting opportunity in a year's time.

The first go around I juice feasted 28 wonderful days. I realize now I stopped for the very actions that are plaguing me now. I was too fearful of my own greatness. A part of me didn't feel of value, not worthy. I didn't understand what was happening to me so I took the easy way out and stopped.

But it was all good, because it wasn't my time. Now is.

The only difference (beside drinking more green juices than fruit) between the two feasts is having the support like never before.

If you have any notion to participate in a Juice Feast, I would encourage you to do so. You are will be doing it at a time where the support (like the juices) is in abundance. Especially if you do it in March with the Global Juice Feast 2008. That would be a perfect time to start.

Juice Feasting has been the hardest and most challenging thing I have ever did in my life. It has forced me to pay attention to me (and what my body needs) in ways I have never done before.

And I'm totally worth it!

Gifts from Angels

Okay, I was sore about not completing my feast in May, old news, let's move forward.

Along the way, I have built a pretty cool blog by the name of The Daily Raw Cafe, gained a cool teen-aged stepson, done mini fasts (7-10 days) and have been 100% for about 20 days or so.

So, okay I've been busy.

For the last two months I have been itching to start another feast. How would that work with the Daily Raw Cafe?
I couldn't taste my own creations which totally bums me out.
I couldn't take a break from blogging recipes, I have subscribers to think of.
But I have this itch, you know?

I talked to my husband and he promised to be my official taster (he is my mentor, after all).
Cool, a few problems solved.

When to start? I don't know. November before Thanksgiving? December? January? IDK.

Last Monday, I meditated on it. Maybe more like prayed for a sign to guide me.

By Wednesday, two angels by the names of David and Katrina Rainoshek of Juicefeasting.com gifted me with 30 days membership to their site.

By Friday they invited me to join them in the Global Juice Feast starting in March 2008.

Although I appreciate the invitation, I wanted to start my feast sooner rather than later.

By David and Katrina entering my life in an extraordinary way, I feel I should move forward with my plans to start a feast before the year ends.
December 1 feels right for me. It gives me time to get my ducks in a row and it's during a time where I feel the most happy. I love holidays.

I studied their website and I am very amazed. It is a detailed, informative, supportive resource that I have taken advantage of since my membership started.

I want to thank David and Katrina for their precious gift and I will continue my membership when it expires.
I encourage anyone wanting to start a juice feast to visit Juicefeasting.com. You will not be disappointed.
And if you're ready to take the plunge do it will the world during Global Juice Feast.
Cheers!
Terilynn
